Montana accepts Body Art Training Group's "Bloodborne Pathogens Training Infection Control" course for tattoo artists & piercers.

Tattooing and piercing establishments in Montana are regulated by the Department of Public Health and Human Services.

The Department requires body art businesses to meet the applicable requirements of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

One of the Standard's requirements is that anyone with occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, such as body art practitioners, must take annual bloodborne pathogens training.

Body Art Training Group's bloodborne pathogens course is body art industry-specific and OSHA-compliant.

In July 2012, the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, stated that our course the Department's training requirement for body art practitioners.
