Your Training Place, LLC doing business as Body Art Training Group is committed to respecting your privacy rights when accessing our website – BodyArtTrainingGroup.com  ("Site"). We created this Privacy Policy ("Policy") to alert you to what information we collect when you visit our Site, how this information is used and who has access to it. By using or becoming a customer of the Site, you consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and storage of your personal information as follows.

1. NOTICE CONCERNING CHILDREN.

Any Internet-connected device or website “directed at children under 13” must undertake certain compliance steps pursuant to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act [15 U.S. Code § 6502] and COPPA Rule [16 CFR Part 312]. Our Site is directed at adults, not children. Please contact us immediately if you have knowledge of a child under 13 using the Site.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED.

A. Information Collection:  In order for you to access the Site, we may require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). Personal Information may include the following categories of information: (1) Contact Data such as your name, phone number and e-mail address; and (2) Verification Data such as your driver’s license number and last four digits of your social security number. A third category of data, Financial Data such as your billing address and payment resource, is collected through a gateway in the site by the payment processor we use - PayPal. We do not collect or store this Financial Data. We also collect and retain any information you provide us when you contact us or participate in dispute resolution efforts.

B. Modification, Termination, or Canceling: 

  • Email Communications - We may send commercial email messages to you on occasion. To stop receiving such messages, please click the unsubscribe link contained at the bottom of each email message. We will also send you administrative emails regarding topics such as updates to this Privacy Policy. You cannot elect to forgo such communications.
  • Profile In the Site - To change your personal information on the Site, login to your account and make any necessary changes through the My Account feature found in the upper right of the Site. Please note your email address is used to identify you throughout the system, and cannot be changed.
  • ID Verification Courses – If your ID has been verified, you will need to contact us to make any changes to your name. You will be required to provide a government-issued ID that verifies the requested changes to your name.
  • Canceling – To cancel an order or account, please contact us through the Contact Us page on the Site.

C. Privacy Policy Updates:  If we modify or update this Policy, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Site and by sending an electronic message indicating as much if we have an email address for you thirty days prior to the changes taking effect. You may reject the update by discontinuing your use of the Site.

D. Do Not Track Signals: Certain states require that we disclose whether we comply with "do not track" signals issued by browsers or privacy software. We do not comply with such signals at this time.

E. User Tracking By Third Parties. We use Google Analytics to help us analyze the traffic to our Site. Google uses cookies and other technology to identify how visitors interact with our Site. We use this information to analyze how to improve our Site and marketing efforts. G. Remarketing and Retargeting. We may also use Google, Facebook or other third-party remarketing or retargeting platforms to market our business. These companies use cookies to track you across the Internet including websites you visited before visiting us and after you leave. Once you leave our Site, Google, Facebook, and the other third-party platforms we use will show you advertisements from us as appropriate. 3. COOKIES AND TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTED.

A. Cookies. Cookies are bits of code used to track you online. We use cookies to analyze how you use the Site so that we might improve user experiences in general. You can elect to erase cookies from your browser by accessing the cookies section in your settings.

B. Traffic Data. We automatically track and collect the following categories of information when you visit our Site: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the Site; and (4) types of web browsers used to access the Site (collectively "Traffic Data"). A. Our Use Of Information: We use your Personal Information to market to you, provide courses to you, and interact with you as well as comply with various laws as detailed herein. Please read this Section 4 carefully.

B. Sharing Personal Information: We share certain categories of information we collect from you in the ways described in this Policy. We share Contact Data and Financial Data with our business partners who assist us by performing core services (such as hosting, billing, email distribution, and data storage) related to our operation of the Site. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with any third parties, please contact us, but please understand that such a request will eliminate your ability to access certain areas of the Site.

C. Use of Contact Data. We use your Contact Data to provide you with administrative communications such as email messages confirming orders. We also use your Contact Data to send you commercial emails highlighting our products and business developments. These email communications may contain messages, advertisements, and affiliate links promoting third parties and third party products.

D. Use of Verification Data. We use Verification Data from time to time to confirm your identity. We also use Verification Data in investigations to determine if a certificate of completion for government-required courses was obtained through fraudulent or other legally dubious means.

E. Use of Financial Data. We use your Financial Data to process course orders you submit to us and address billing disputes. All financial transactions are currently processed through PayPal, and you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy of PayPal when ordering courses from us. You further understand and agree that we may use and communicate your Personal Information and history of course and website usage to third parties including, but not limited to, our legal counsel, administrative agencies, and PayPal during any billing or legal disputes. We do not store your Financial Data on the Site.

F. Certificate Verification Tool. If we provide you a certificate for completing certain courses, individuals with government agencies or the general public will be able to use a Certificate Verification Tool we provide to enter a certificate number to verify the certification is valid. Your name, name of the course, and date of completion will be viewable to the person using the tool so long as they have the accurate certificate number.

G. Sale of Information: Should we decide to sell all or part of our business or any of the Site at some point in the future, your Personal Information will be included as an asset in the transfer of the business to the new owner.

5. SECURITY INFORMATION.

A. Site Security: Our Site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third-party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration. Although we strive to protect your information with 256-bit SSL end-to-end encryption and other techniques, it is important to understand there is no such thing as total security for an online website given government and individual hacking efforts. We will provide notification to you of any data breach.

B. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information: Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will keep your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce the legal documents applicable to the Site. 

C. Lost or Stolen Information: You must promptly notify us if your username or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. In such an event, we will remove or modify your account to block unauthorized use, but you are solely responsible for any such use prior to notifying us.
